I'm a self-proclaimed movie buff. I'd say a large portion of my leisure time is spent watching movies, talking about them, buying them or trying to incorporate a scene into my life (which is quite a feat). Enjoy!

How am I not myself?

What a funny movie!! Sam and I had a great time watching this screwball pseudo-comedy. I say that because it has some deeper purpose other than making you laugh. It'll make you think about who you are and even maybe get you started thinking about why you are who you are now.

Okay, maybe they get around to that point by poking fun of new-age philosophies and admittedly, I got very lost in all the psycho-analysis. But I think that's the whole joke. If you were taking yourself too seriously, I think you'd have been really confused with what they were pushing and maybe even a little annoyed trying to follow what they were saying. But then if you hadn't taken yourself seriously enough till now, then maybe it's time you hired yourself some Existential Detectives and have them follow you everywhere you go (yes, even in the bathroom) so they can figure out what makes you tick.

I have to say Mark Wahlberg gave the performance of his life! I was so freakin' impressed with Marky Mark, I was fairly shocked by it! I know critics gave it a thumbs down, but I still enjoyed it and I cannot wait to get it on dvd to watch it all over again!
