I must say, I was very very (see? Now that's two verys) pleasantly surprised with this movie! Mr. Allen delivered wonderful one-liners and his endearing stuttering was a perfect compliment to Ms Johannsen's seeming naivete. She even managed to tone down her sensuality...but only by a little, I could hear my friend Phipps salivating when she came out in that red one-piece swimsuit. But I can't blame him. I, too, found myself drooling, but over Hugh Jackman. Meow!
I don't remember the last time I laughed this much over Woody Allen's antics. This is just the kind of movie you'd want to see to get out of this scorching heat we're all in. It lightens you up, takes you away to beautiful English countrysides, and it reminds you that life really is very fragile, so make sure you know which side of the road you're supposed to be driving on.
